Position Summary

The Regional Office Manager plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the regional office, ensuring seamless operation and coordination of all activities. This multifaceted position involves managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling communications, and overseeing various administrative tasks to enhance the productivity of the regional team. By excelling in these areas, the Regional Office Manager significantly contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizes MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create and refine professional documents and presentations.
  • Manages emails, phone calls, and mail at the Charlestown MRF, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Oversees logistics, prepares agendas, and organizes materials to ensure successful and efficient gatherings.
  • Implements effective filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage of important documents.
  • Upholds strict confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive data and information.
  • Supports community engagement activities and trade shows, contributing to the success of regional projects.
  • Offers comprehensive administrative assistance for various special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains safety records, procedures, and employee personnel records to ensure data is organized and up to date.
  • Performs inventory management and utilization review for all office equipment, systems hardware and software, and office supplies and replenishes as needed to ensure a ready supply.
  • Ensures all regional office activities adhere to industry regulations and environmental standards, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Supports and promotes sustainability programs and initiatives within the regional office, encouraging environmentally responsible practices.
  • Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience, with formal training or coursework in writing, marketing, or communications preferred. They should possess excellent verbal, digital, and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and planning abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office 365 and related platforms is essential, along with an understanding of social media communication strategies and tactics. Success in collaborative environments is also important. Preferred experience includes direct sales or sales coordination and an interest in the environmental and/or sustainability field. Occasional travel is required.
