Career Path Definitions & Distinctions:
Financial Analyst: Has 2 to 4 years of progressively complex experience in the finance industry or accounting track with advanced financial analysis and reporting responsibilities. Possesses a solid working knowledge of financial procedures and regulations. Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
Senior Financial Analyst: Has 5+ years of progressively complex experience in the finance industry or accounting track with advanced financial analysis and reporting responsibilities. Possesses a high level of knowledge of financial procedures and regulations. Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to others on the finance team.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or business administration, and 2-4 years of finance experience. Strong time management and organizational ability partnered with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment are required. Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and formal presentation skills along with an ability to meet consistent deadlines are expected.
