Position Summary

The Resource Solutions Maintenance Manager supports the evaluation, selection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including Rolling Stock, installed and used in daily operations; provides leadership; and ensures the timely installation and upkeep of the company’s property and systems to establish operational effectiveness. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction for any employer. Hiring Range of $82,767-$103,458 bonus eligible position

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains the highest level of excellence in communication with colleagues throughout the company.
  • Assists and coordinates maintenance activities with Maintenance Managers, Division Managers, and Market Area Managers to maximize equipment operational efficiency and minimize unscheduled downtime.
  • Maintains and improves a Preventive Maintenance Program throughout the facilities within the Resource Solutions footprint to ensure all equipment is operationally fit for use.
  • Assists managers with organization, scheduling, and ensures adequate work crews for major equipment overhauls, replacement of equipment, and special projects.
  • Coordinates and provides training and creates opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Negotiates contracts with external vendors to execute maintenance work.
  • Manages and provides leadership to team members by effectively communicating, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members on achieving goals, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities that assist employees in attaining the necessary skills to achieve team and corporate results.
  • Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services, and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
  • Ensures compliance with all company, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws regarding employment and employee safety.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experience in a management or supervisory position, 3-5 years of experience in an operational environment, and be legally eligible to work in the US. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel quarterly are needed.

 

Good analytical reasoning and justification skills, and a strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems are necessary. An ability to teach and train others, proven management skills, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and procurement and negotiation skills are expected.
