The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing collections activities, container delivery and pickup for commercial, industrial and residential customers, while managing a large team of dispatchers, drivers, and other workers who are responsible for managing the route system as well as executing a local market strategy to best complete Casella initiatives.

The Strategic Account Manager fosters and maintains relationships with new and existing business accounts by delivering excellent account management, providing innovative solutions to solve unique business needs, and identifying service enhancements for customers that increases customer loyalty, retains long-term business, and provides opportunities for increased sales growth.

The Sourcing Specialist is a resource for customers, strategic account managers and vendors to create personalized resource solution plans and ensure adequate options to properly dispose, recycle, or reuse materials. The Sourcing Coordinator researches, identifies, and qualifies new and current vendors that enable Casella to manage customer’s waste streams in a cost-effective way.    

The Sorter is responsible for sorting through recycled materials that come into the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) as they move along the conveyor belt, inspecting items, and placing items or materials into designated area according to commodity, size, condition, and/or grade. 

The Depot Attendant assists and oversees the usage of the Recycling/Transfer station facility, performs general labor duties at a transfer station and completes tasks such as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.     Starting pay range for this position is $17-$20 per hour.      

The Market Area Controller develops budgets for divisional consideration by region leadership, oversees and directs accounting operations within a few cost centers under multiple divisions of Casella.    

The Administrative Office Specialist provides professional clerical and administrative support to the division by providing support to managers, employees, and customers, assisting in daily office needs, and managing the company’s general administrative activities. The incumbent supplies information to callers, maintains files, organizes and maintains schedules and appointments, generates standard reports, and produces correspondence.   The starting hourly pay range for this position is $20-$22 per hour. 

The Scale Operator, the face of the facility, is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound materials at the facility, processing outbound Bill of Ladings and ensuring that material is being loaded into the vehicle correlates with the release number provided by the hauler.    Part-Time (Weekend flexibility required)

The Helper performs duties and operations to assist driver’s complete customer routes with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

The Heavy Equipment Operator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at the Transfer Station for the purpose of transferring and loading materials in an efficient and safe manner; operates one or more types of yellow iron equipment.  The starting pay range for this position is $23-$25 per hour.
