The Landfill Environmental Technician is responsible for performing environmental monitoring of water, leachate, and gas systems. The incumbent will apply environmental and engineering principles to modify, test, regulate, and operate equipment and systems used in the operation and regulation of gas systems, leachate collection and ground water testing to ensure daily operations and testing meet federal and state guidelines.   Hiring Range: $22-26/ hour

The Scale Operator, the face of the facility, is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound materials at the facility, processing outbound Bill of Ladings and ensuring that material is being loaded into the vehicle correlates with the release number provided by the hauler.    Hiring Range: $20-$23

The Office Manager is responsible for providing professional-level administrative support to the division by coordinating office activities and functions and collaborating with division leaders and staff to ensure operational and compliance requirements are completed and maintained.

The Operations Associate is a member of a team responsible for daily monitoring and processing of materials in order to add value to the customer. The incumbent will work with a team to ensure that materials are handled appropriately and that customers get the best value from our services.   

The Maintenance Production Administrator (MPA) is responsible for parts and inventory management and administration in a shop environment.  This position will be responsible for the locations of White River Junction, Brattleboro and Newport, NH.   The starting hiring range for this position is $25-$30 per hour based on the level of experience.  

The Helper performs duties and operations to assist driver’s complete customer routes with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

The Dispatcher communicates with drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route for residential, commercial, and roll-off services, coordinates the utilization of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service for all customers.    

The Custodial Staff is responsible for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, offices, break rooms, hallways and conference rooms within the assigned facility in compliance with Casella’s cleanliness standards and best practices.   Hiring Range: $19-21/ hourly

The Transfer Station Laborer performs general labor duties at a transfer station completing tasks such as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment used in the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for the purpose of transferring, sorting and/or baling recycled materials in an efficient and safe manner including operating multiple types of equipment like forklifts, skid steer, recycling balers, and payloaders/excavators. 1st and 2nd shifts. Pay range $18-$20

The Heavy Equipment Operator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at the Transfer Station for the purpose of transferring and loading materials in an efficient and safe manner; operates one or more types of yellow iron equipment.   Hiring Range: $23-25/ hour

The Compactor Repair Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, installation, modifications to all types of waste and recycling industry compactors and balers equipment.   Hiring Range: $27.00-$30.00/hour

The Container Repair Mechanic performs repairs, maintenance and installs compactors and other stationary equipment, executes work on hydraulics, completes basic electrical operations and welds and fabricates to maximize safe and productive operations.   Hiring Range: $22.00-$24.00/hour

The Billing Specialist performs a variety of routine and non-routine, simple to moderately complex billing functions to ensure the proper preparation of accurate, timely bills to customers in accordance with service contract terms and is responsible for related activities. This role typically entails responsibility for customer accounts. This position consists of three levels: Billing Coordinator, Billing Specialist, and Senior Billing Specialist.   

The Market Area Controller develops budgets for divisional consideration by region leadership, oversees and directs accounting operations within a few cost centers under multiple divisions of Casella.

The Forklift Operator operates and manages movement of materials to ensure a clean, organized facility, respects forklift safety criteria and fulfills production needs.    

The Administrative Office/Accounting Specialist provides professional clerical, accounting and administrative support to the division by providing support to managers, employees, and customers, assisting in daily office needs, and managing the company’s general administrative activities. The incumbent supplies information to callers, maintains files, organizes and maintains schedules and appointments, and generates standard reports.   #INDSJ
