The Lead Diesel Technician performs major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles and equipment; makes all repairs in a safe, cost effective and time efficient manner. The Lead Technician will prioritize, delegate, train and instruct other technicians to ensure repairs are being done in a safe manner and is responsible for active participation in the company’s progress with the career paths program and help technicians to move up in their careers.

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) participates in the development of the sales strategy and required actions to achieve their assigned market area’s revenue goals in total as well as by line of business ensuring profitable revenue growth and retention. The incumbent works with the Regional Sales Manager to coach, develop, and mentor market area sales professionals, primarily Territory Sales and Commercial Services Representatives, to ensure the execution of market area sales strategies.

The Diesel Technician Apprentice works alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Diesel Technician to learn and further develop skills. The Apprentice provides maintenance, repairs vehicles and equipment, and mainly focuses on preventative maintenance and maintaining the safety of all vehicles and equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at the Transfer Station for the purpose of transferring and loading materials in an efficient and safe manner; operates one or more types of yellow iron equipment.

The Maintenance Production Administrator is responsible for parts and inventory management and administration in a shop environment.
