Responsible for weighing inbound and outbound materials at the facility, processing outbound Bill of Ladings, and ensuring that materials are being loaded into the vehicle which correlates with the release number provided by the hauler. This position also assists the dispatcher and the logistics coordinator.
The CDL Driver Apprentice will obtain a Commercial Driving Permit and complete the Federally required CDL instruction and training to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle providing service to customers in their respective Line of Business (LOB) while working alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Driver Trainer. The incumbent will continue in the apprentice role until all training requirements are completed and they have passed the CDL licensing exam and road test.

The Heavy Equipment/Dump Truck Operator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at Septic System repairs and replacements, Sewer line repairs and replacements, Demolition projects and general Earth Work projects. Can operate one or more types of yellow iron equipment and operate a CDL Class B dump truck.
