The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to members of the Permits, Compliance, and Engineering team, assisting in daily office needs and managing the departments general administrative activities. The incumbent prepares documents, manages data, organizes mailing, maintains schedules, and arranges meeting and trainings.
The Special Waste Manager is responsible for the technical review of waste characterization profile information and confirming accuracy of applicable analytical data. The incumbent will determine if a waste is acceptable at the proposed disposal facility based on regulations, facility permits and proposed management method. This role protects our disposal facilities environmental integrity, ensure compliance with regulations, and enforce corporate special waste acceptance polices, while maximizing efficiencies and responsiveness for our clients.
The Regional Engineer is responsible for maintaining environmental compliance and permit requirements and acting as the senior local technical expert with regards to engineering and environmental concepts for assigned locations. The incumbent will apply engineering principles to prepare technical reports, conduct periodic tests, audits, or inspections of organizational processes, collect, and analyze samples, investigate incidents and complaints, and recommend corrective action as necessary. This position will manage both internal and external resources for multidisciplinary projects spanning multiple years. Serving as a regional leader, the incumbent will communicate technical information in public meetings, internal trainings, and industry conferences.
The Compliance Specialist position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining approvals and regulatory compliance for the beneficial use and disposal of municipal and industrial waste streams, while staying current with environmental regulations pertaining to the waste industry. The Compliance Specialist coordinates with Casella’s Logistics and Special Waste Teams to optimize where materials can be directed in order to provide strategic solutions to customers and be a resource on environmental and regulatory affairs.
